One of our favorites, Spotted Joe-Pye Weed is a showstopper in the garden! While the foliage is attractive in itself, once it begins blooming in mid- to late summer, it will catch the eyes of you and pollinators alike. Due to its height and how its seed heads persist, it provides structure in the garden well into winter. While it’s a perfect fit in a rain garden, it can also do well in average garden soil, though it may need supplemental watering during extended droughts.
